Pin-up photo shoot.

Hello, hello!

Last week alternative model Agony Von Grim and I came together to shoot pin-up photos for her portfolio (and mine too).

Agony and I started early on her hair because Dimi from Doukas Arts had booked us a studio for 2 hours. I knew makeup would take at least 45min so we wouldn't have enough time to do Agony's hair in the studio too. She came to my place and it took me 1,5h to tong her hair. I was planning to use heated rollers, but the ones I had weren't good at all so I used a hair tong instead. Her hair turned out good. Very curly, but not in a bad way. We had a great time chating and she told me that she has modeled in China and speaks fluent chinese =D That's fantastic! I speak a little bit of japanese and french, but I'm not fluent. I happen to think highly of people who are fluent in at least two languages ^_^ Maybe because I'm only fluent in english (well and in finnish). She gave me good insights about modeling in China and that gave me an idea. Just need to put my new plan in to motion and see what happens.

Dimi was kind to pick us from my place and we drove to Nummela, a small town outside of Helsinki. Luckily we weren't in a hurry so I was able to do Agony's makeup in peace. Because Agony is an alternative model I didn't go for the obvious black eyeliner and nude tones, I designed a more modern look for her. It made me very happy to hear that she was very pleased with the makeup and whilst looking at the shots she would point out how awesome the makeup looked ^_^ That made me very happy because no model had previously complimented my makeup that much, so thank you for that Agony! <3  Dimi already knew what he wanted to shoot, so when Agony got infront of the camera, he showed her couple of Pin-up pictures and she took it from there. We got couple very classical Pin-up shots.

Even though this was a brief shoot (compared to my usual 5-9h shoots) I enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more Agony images because we just might team-up again to shoot something alternative.

Here's the video I made of our shoot.
