Hello!
This is the second box that came the next day (after the first box). Look how cool, Etude House prints their logo on the box! =) I ordered this on ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/etudehouseglobal
Etude House: Pore Ever Primer Essence: I love the consistency of this product. It's like a mixture of honey and gel. It feels really nice on skin. I use this on my nose area day and night. It seems to me that this really does close pores and my BB cream just glides on top of it. It seems to me like this product is really working. First impression: *a kiss*.
Etude House: Eye's Cream Mint Cooling: It smells like mint =) And the packaging is adorable! The product is actually rather small (see Vanilla review below), but I imagine this product will easily last a year. First time I tried this, I used my fingers to apply the product. I didn't want to transfer any bacteria back and forth. But on the package it says that you apply it by rolling the stick around the under eye area. I'm doing that now, although I need to figure out if the rolling motion is going to cause premature sagging. After all, all the other eye creams need to be tapped on. I think I just might go back to applying this with a finger. I don't have puffiness, but I have noticed that BB cream tends to settle in the small "wrinkles" underneath my eyes. And I don't like that. It could be my BB cream mixture that is doing it though. I need to see which product is causing it. I have noticed that the dark circles in my other eye have reduced, but the other one looks pretty much the same as always. My first impression: *ok*.
Etude House: Eye's Cream Vanilla Moist: As I said, I'm using both Vanilla and Mint, so I can't really tell which one is better. I have been using both of them for a week. This doesn't smell like vanilla, but it's very moist =) So it should be night cream quality. You want to use more intense, creamier, moist products at night because that's the time your skin renews itself. Using stronger products at night means that they will aid your skin repair its problems. I can't say much about this product because it has only been a week, but my first impression of Vanilla Moist is: *a peck on the cheek*.
And in the last box (not pictured at the beginning) was innisfree jejubija anti-trouble lotion. I ordered this on ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/rubyrubyshop
May I remind you that in Korea they call acne skin troubled-skin. In the first box (other post) I got innisfree jejubija anti-trouble BB cream, and I hate that BB cream!! It's so not for my skin type! The colour match is very good, so I mix that with my Skin79 BB cream. However otherwise that BB cream is not for me (I'm combination skin, I have acne but my skin is not oily). I was hoping that that BB cream would treat my acne, not make me break out. And it really dried my skin. Ahem, so this anti-trouble lotion is pretty much the same as the BB cream, it dulled my skin and made it look dry. For some reason both of the innisfree products practically accents the problem areas. In my case it accented my pimples, worry lines and all the other small spots I have. I'm so sad because this lotion is supposed to treat acne, so I was hoping that it would cure my acne and prevent break outs. It does dry the pimples, but I feel that that kind of method is not good for my skin. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my skin because acne tends to scar my skin =( It's really awful. Anyway I'm not happy with this product at all. It has only been a week and I'm only using this directly on my pimples, but that's all. I'm gonna give it one more chance to cure my pimples. First impression: *a punch in the face*.
Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for more makeup reviews and photo shoot stories and makeup tutorials.
See you!
It sounds to me that you have a combination skin that tends to be on the dry side. I went through the same mistakes and tried all the products for acne skin but it ended up drying out my skin and causing more breakouts. Just need to figure out the right amount of moisture suitable for your skin. Maybe your cleanser is too harsh? Which of the Etude's cleanser's did you use before? Was it one of the Happy foaming cleansers?
VastaaPoistaI have the Vanilla Eye's cream from Etude and it is rubbish! Should have told that to you before.
Good luck :)
Actually I have normal skin, that just tends to break out (evil chocolate!). It's only dry in winter, but Clarins usually fixes that. But you are right, acne products are not the way to go with my skin. I use The Body Shop Tea Tree cleanser because it really takes off all traces of BB cream etc. I'm afraid that it's a bit too harsh though. Last year I stopped using it for a while and my skin broke out. So I can't figure out if it's good for me or not because my skin doesn't break out that much when I use it.
PoistaYes it was the Etude Happy foam =/ Got all these red spots all over my face, so nasty. Shite! I was counting on the Vanilla eye cream xP Oh well I guess I have to go back to Clarins when I get more munnie. I hear La Mer is the best eye cream in the business, but it's $180 a yar!
Cheers! Need to keep on experimenting =)
